The WST 15.1002 is the matching wind sensor for the Lock ventilation controllers LSR 25 and LSR 35. It continuously measures wind speed and, when the set threshold is exceeded, triggers the wind cascade switching function in the ventilation controller – the ventilation flaps close automatically, protecting the structure from wind damage.
An integrated heating element keeps the sensor electronics operational even in frost, snow, and ice formation, ensuring reliable protection throughout the year. Installation is straightforward: the sensor is mounted onto a pipe (site-supplied) via a mounting bracket and U-bolt. The power and signal cables are pre-wired ready for connection at 5 m each, which considerably simplifies installation.
