The RST 65.1023 is an electronic rain sensor for the automatic protection of ventilation systems against precipitation. As soon as the sensor plate detects rain or snow, it outputs a signal via a potential-free switching contact – the ventilation controller (LSR 25, LSR 35) or the reversible contactor control unit (EHS 01, EHS 02) then closes the system automatically.
The electronic sensor plate is equipped with an integrated heating element. This prevents snow or ice formation on the sensor surface from causing false signals or failures – detection remains precise and reliable even in winter. Potential-free switching contacts enable flexible integration into different control systems.
Mounting is via a mounting bracket and U-bolt on a site-supplied pipe. The power and signal cables are pre-wired at 5 m each – the sensor is ready for connection immediately.
