PAR 10 // Position repeater
The PAR 10 is a programmable multiturn sensor for position feedback on power drives EWA and power racks EZW. It reliably captures shaft revolutions between 0.1 and 190 and transmits the current position as an analog voltage signal (0–10 V or optionally 0–5 V) to the control unit. The sensor can either be supplied pre-mounted or easily retrofitted onto the limit switch END 20. As an electronic replacement for the potentiometer PAR 06, it uses the same electrical connection and can be used without an additional intermediate gear unit for all revolution ranges – a single version covers all applications.
Commissioning is conveniently carried out via two push buttons directly on the device; the current status is indicated by an LED. Thanks to contactless, wear-free technology with no mechanical stop, the sensor operates with an exceptionally long service life – even at ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. The high resolution ensures precise positioning with a smooth, stable signal free of jumps.
