EWA 56 // PowerDrive 900-2000 Nm
The Lock power drive EWA 56 is an extremely quiet, self-locking double worm gear unit with integrated limit switch and long service life.
The drives are maintenance-free: the gear unit is filled with high-quality industrial oil, providing lifetime lubrication without oil changes. Oil leaks are prevented by oil seals and high-quality bearings.
The standard mounting at the rear or side enables universal installation.
Lock goes one step further: the EWA 56 is up to 20% lighter than comparable products!
The duty cycle is S3-40%.
The drive operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -5°C to +60°C and is protected against dust and water jets to protection class IP55.
Thanks to the round shaft We19 with keyway, the EWA 56 power drive is flexible in its application. Ideally, the drive is mounted in the center of the drive train – please observe the maximum torque of the couplings. Limit switch
- for up to 395 shaft revolutions via control unit LSC 40 DC including auxiliary limit switch: end position settings are configured in two clicks, saving time during installation. A particular advantage: the auxiliary limit switch retains the end position even in the event of a power failure, preventing the end positions from being overrun and avoiding damage to the application. Select the appropriate position repeater LPR 02 for analogue signal 0–10 V or 4–20 mA, or LPR 04 for additional digital signal (incremental).
- for up to 395 shaft revolutions via precision gear limit switch END 20. Select the appropriate position repeater PAR 06 (potentiometer) or PAR 10 (0–10 V or 0–5 V).
Lock quality motors are available for many supply voltages.
The EWA 56 power drives are installation-compatible with EWA 16.
