HZW 60.5001

The HZW 60.5001 transmits forces of up to 50000 at a crank force of 0 N and a stroke of 0 mm/n per crank revolution. The drive is designed for wall mounting and rated for continuous operation at operating temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C (static up to 90 °C). Lateral forces on the drive system must be ruled out.
All cranks are galvanized and without paint.

Hazard notice:
The HZW 60 is not self-locking. The holding torque is provided solely by the gear ratio and the locking of the crank system.
If a hazard can arise in the event of a loss of holding force, the application must be additionally secured — e.g., by pinning. The connection to the supporting structure must be assessed and designed by the customer.

The standard version has asymmetrical toothing and may therefore only be loaded in one force direction (compression or tension). The mounting position must be selected accordingly. Against the main force direction, a maximum of 5 % of the crank force is permissible.
Optionally, a version with symmetrical toothing and a pressure-roller safety crank is available — this enables compressive and tensile loading, is low-noise, and does not release on its own even under vibration (e.g., suitable for tank lids on vehicles). The pressure-roller safety crank can also be retrofitted onto a standard drive with asymmetrical toothing.
