The HZW 53.0601 safely transmits forces of up to 6000 in tension and compression. The smooth-running, self-locking worm gear unit made of hardened steel and bronze in a cast housing is designed for continuous operation at temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C (static up to 90 °C). The hand force is 180 N at a stroke of 11 mm/n per crank revolution.
The available stroke is 0 mm. With this version (stroke > 1100 mm), the reduced compressive force must be taken into account.
Operation with a motorized drive system is also possible in accordance with the assembly and operating instructions. Lateral forces on the drive system must be ruled out in all operating cases.
As options, a folding handle in a galvanized version and a rack run-out stop are available.
