The HZW 53.0601 safely transmits forces of up to 6000 in tension and compression. The smooth-running, self-locking worm gear unit made of hardened steel and bronze in a cast housing is designed for continuous operation at temperatures from –20 °C to +60 °C (static up to 90 °C). The hand force is 180 N at a stroke of 11 mm/n per crank revolution.
The available stroke is 0 mm. With this version (stroke > 1100 mm), the reduced compressive force must be taken into account.
Operation with a motorized drive system is also possible in accordance with the assembly and operating instructions. Lateral forces on the drive system must be ruled out in all operating cases.
As an option, a rack run-out stop is available.
For use in potentially explosive areas, the ATEX version (II 3 G Ex h IIB T4 Gc / II 3 D Ex h IIIB T135°C Dc) is available — the folding handle cannot be combined with this version.
